STEM Education at Chandigarh Baptist School

Empowering Young Innovators Through Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics

At Chandigarh Baptist School, STEM education is not an optional add-on but an integral part of our curriculum across all grade levels. We aim to cultivate a scientific temper, logical thinking, creativity, and innovation among our students from the early years through to Grade 12.

Key Highlights of Our STEM Integration:

  • Early Introduction (Grades 1–5):

STEM concepts are introduced through playful exploration, building blocks, puzzles, simple machines, and digital tools. Students engage in classroom STEM corners that encourage creativity, experimentation, and hands-on learning.

  • Structured Learning (Grades 6–8):

Students delve into robotics, electronics, Arduino, basic coding, and AI tools through weekly STEM periods and lab-based learning. We focus on design thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork, ensuring that every child learns by doing.

  • Advanced Application (Grades 9–12):

At the senior level, students work on complex robotics and AI projects, build drones, program sensors, and participate in national-level STEM competitions. Our learners gain exposure to emerging technologies like machine learning, data science, and the Internet of Things (IoT).

Our Robotics Lab

Our dedicated Robotics and Innovation Lab is a hub of curiosity and invention. Equipped with modern tools such as:

  • Arduino Uno boards and sensors

  • IR & Ultrasonic Modules

  • L298N Motor Driver Modules

  • Coding and Simulation Software

  • Drone Kits and AI Models

The lab provides opportunities to design, build, program, and innovate.

Chandigarh Baptist School is committed to nurturing next-generation thinkers and creators by embedding STEM education at the heart of our academic journey. We believe that by giving students the tools and opportunities to experiment, explore, and invent, we are preparing them to lead in a future shaped by innovation.
